Researchers have found high levels of a bacteria normally only found in the mouth in the brains of those with Alzheimer’s. They are unclear of the cause/effect, but brushing your teeth after each meal is a very healthy habit regardless!
Brain and Nervous System Health
Exercise May Be the Best Medicine for Alzheimer’s
I have posted about this before, but here is more compelling evidence that exercise is good for the brain! Other research has shown that impact exercises are also good for nerve connections–think of children “jumping on the bed”. Let’s get moving–maybe try a mini-trampoline?? 🙂
Cell Phone Use Causes Oxidative Stress
Heavy cell phone use is linked to oxidative stress–think aging, cancer, etc. And “heavy” use is defined as “at least 8 hours per month” on a cellular phone. Let’s put down our phones–try the speaker feature or face-to-face even better!! Read more here.

Carbs Trigger Cravings
