Caffeinated Medications Linked with Strokes
Taking medications that contain caffeine are associated with a two- to three-fold increased risk of stroke. Interestingly, those that drank coffee were at a reduced risk in this population. Bottom line: avoid medications that contain caffeine. Read article here.
