I am so sad to report that scientists have found over 81 different drugs (pharmaceuticals and even cocaine) in young salmon living in Puget Sound. The problem is extensive: the scope of pharmaceuticals prescribed, the inability to purify our waste-water, the contamination of our waters and the creatures that live in them, the contamination of our food source, etc. Read more here and here.
