Wow! So we know that smoking is bad for us. We know that smoking during pregnancy is bad for the growing baby. We know that second-hand smoke is bad for our children (and anyone else exposed). But now there is evidence that a mother’s nicotine exposure during pregnancy can increase the risk of asthma in her GREAT-grandchildren! If you are struggling to quit smoking, PLEASE call for an appointment to discuss additional ways of breaking this dangerous habit. It might save you as well as your great-grandchildren!
