Covid-19 Precautions: Since the outbreak of Covid-19, we have been implementing measures following CDC and Governor Inslee’s guidelines with goals to provide a safe experience for your health care. We offer telemedicine (video) appointments as well as in-office appointments. Policies we’ve implemented include:
- Staff is monitored for symptoms and fever daily.
- Visitors are screened for Covid-19 symptoms and fever prior to entering the suite. Please allow extra time for screening before your appointment. If you have any symptoms of Covid-19, please call in advance for instructions.
- Masks are required for in-office appointments, in accordance with CDC and Governor Inslee’s guidelines. If you are unable to wear a mask, please schedule a video appointment.
- Physical distancing of at least 6 feet is upheld except during medical examination or indicated treatment, as needed.
- Hand sanitizer is available and use is encouraged.
- We ask that you bring only one support person with you to any in-office appointment and only if it is necessary. A support person must be in good health and at least 16 years or older.
- We have installed an air filter with UVC. Per the FDA: “UVC radiation has been shown to destroy the outer protein coating of the SARS-Coronavirus, which is a different virus from the current SARS-CoV-2 virus. The destruction ultimately leads to inactivation of the virus (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-67211-2.pdf). UVC radiation may also be effective in inactivating the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which is the virus that causes the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). However, currently there is limited published data about the wavelength, dose, and duration of UVC radiation required to inactivate the SARS-CoV-2 virus.” (https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-covid-19-and-medical-devices/uv-lights-and-lamps-ultraviolet-c-radiation-disinfection-and-coronavirus)
- Treatment rooms and reception are disinfected after each in-office appointment.
