Native Foods–The Same is True for All of Us

This study focuses on the impact on the health of Native Americans who are changing from a natural food diet to a grocery-store diet. The diabetes rates are appalling. The same pattern of poor health with grocery-store foods is impacting most of us. Stick to fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, nuts, etc. Avoid anything processed or packaged. And keep in mind that the nutrient value in our produce is diminishing due to farming practices–try and get organic, naturally-raised foods locally as much as possible–hit those farmers markets!! 🙂
