Artificial Sweetener Found to Increase Blood Sugar and Insulin

“Researchers found that consuming the sucralose (e.g., Splenda)was associated with higher blood sugar peaks and 20 percent higher insulin levels compared with consuming the water, . . . ” If artificial sweeteners were the answer to obesity, we would be a skinny nation. Please limit all sweets. When you do have a treat, use natural stevia (not the ones with added alcohol sugars), honey or maple syrup. Read more here.
