Sugar and Kidney Stones

According to this work, just one soda per day (or an equivalent sugary drink) can increase the risk of kidney stones by 25%!  There is just no good reason to drink sodas. Try some stevia sweetened lemonade, cucumber water, citrus/fruit water, or herbal teas instead.

Cucumber water:  Slice a fresh organic cucumber and put slices into fresh water. Place in fridge to chill.

Citrus/fruit water: Make wedges of your favorite fruits (oranges, limes, lemons, cantaloupe, berries, etc.) and place into fresh water. Place in fridge to chill.

Lemonade: Squeeze lemons into fresh water (I like at least 1 per cup of water). Add pure liquid stevia drops to taste. Place in fridge to chill.
