A Flip-Side to Vitamin D Supplementation

A government task-force has just released their recommendation that healthy post-menopausal women avoid Vitamin D and calcium supplementation due to the increased risk for kidney stones. They do, however, support supplementation for those diagnosed with osteoporosis. The article mentions nothing about other supplements (including magnesium, etc.) or diet. Still, if you have a tendency to form kidney stones, you should avoid calcium and Vit. D supplementation.
