Increasing incidence of Celiac Disease in the U.S.

Celiac disease is increasing at an alarming rate in the United States.  Theories mentioned in this Health Day article include:  use of too many antibiotics, too much handwashing, vaccines, excessive gluten exposure and at an earlier age, and lack of breastfeeding.  Also important to note is that adults often DO NOT have digestion symptoms but may experience fatigue, anemias, arthritis or osteoporosis.  Dr. Brown utilizes advanced evaluation techniques to determine gluten-sensitivity and Celiac disease.
