Low Vitamin D in Pregnant Mother = Cavities in Toddler

New research is noting a correlation between Vitamin D deficiency in pregnant mothers and the incidence of cavities by the time their children are toddlers. PLEASE insist that your vitamin D levels are checked, whether or not your insurance will cover the test (many are balking at testing Vitamin D25OH). It is important to have healthy levels of Vit. D25OH (current goal is 60 ng/mL)–deficiency and over treatment can cause adverse health effects.
