While I-522 was defeated in Washington this month, please remember that this is a process. Continue to educate your friends and relatives on the potential dangers of GMO foods and the importance of appropriate labeling so that everyone can make informed decisions. And did you know that of the money raised against labeling ($29 million), less than $600 was reportedly from within Washington state–this means that out-of-state business is impacting our state elections. I think people need to know that, too. What are they trying to hide???
