High Blood Sugar is Linked to Dementia

Sugar is notorious for its inflammatory effects. Period. And inflammation impacts every part of our bodies, including the brain. Optimal blood sugar control is key to optimizing health. And reducing intake of processed and refined sugars is important. Diet, exercise, and sleep can help–include whole foods, exercise at least 30 minutes/day and sleep 8 hours/night.  If necessary, the use of supplements can also be effective.
