Increased Risk of Autism with Air Pollution

The Archives of General Psychiatry has recently “found evidence that pollution may affect the developing brain among children whose mothers lived in areas where there was poor air quality“. This relationship seems particularly strong in cases of traffic-related pollution, but consider this:  the EPA reports that indoor air quality is now poorer that outdoor air quality!  Add plants to your home and strive to limit plastics, carpet, paints, solvents (e.g., chemical cleaning supplies), etc. Here is a link to some ideas for improving your home’s air quality.
