Allergies Or Not–Eye Wash Helpful!

Certainly if you have pollen allergies, rinsing your eyes can provide relief. But did you know that even if you don’t have allergies, those pollen particles are irritating! I think of them like tiny scrubber pads. See the attached image courtesy GettyImages. So, remember to rinse out not only your nasal passages (especially if you have pollen allergies) but your eyes–using sterile saline solution. I find that using an eye cup with sterile saline works best for rinsing my eyes–eye drops just aren’t enough in peak season. To your health and comfort!!
